Leif Peterson: Founder
Drawing on over twenty years of experience in the design, construction, illustration and technical consulting industries, Leif brings a holistic approach to design and collaborative teams. His work encompasses a broad range of project types which include adaptive re-use, lifestyle, streetscapes, urban design, transit infrastructure, housing development, stormwater management and restoration.
Driven by a lifelong pursuit of creative problem solving, a fascination with representative graphics and word of mouth consulting requests, Leif started LP design and Illustration studio in the summer of 2009. Since then, he has had the opportunity to collaborate on local, national and international projects, co-found, consult and grow a variety of businesses and his work has been published in both online and print magazines.
As a designer, Leif focuses on offering unique solutions specific to client needs while balancing sustainability, programmatic utility and aesthetic beauty. He is particularly interested in ecological function, decaying infrastructure, kineticism and the hazy areas where form, space, time, light and sound reside.
Outside of work you might find Leif spending time with family and friends, composing music, enjoying the Twin Cities parks and trail systems, or cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
